Twin Buttes RV

Off-road friendly / Paved road access

Our park includes pull through spaces with full hookups (50 and 30 amp options with water and sewer) along with camping areas for both small and large groups.
We are located near the Idaho National Laboratory and several tourist sites such as EBR1 (Nuclear energy museum with the first working reactor, nuclear airplane engine, and much more) within easy driving distance to Craters of the Moon.  Near other outdoor adventures in Sun Valley, Salmon, West Yellowstone, St. Anthony Sand Dunes, and many others.
We have access to Idaho's best desert trails for all types of Off Road Vehicles including one of the best rides in Idaho up the Big Southern Butte.

Digital trail maps are avaialble here:  Atomic City Trails

Welcome to Atomic city

At the heart of early atomic energy research, and only six miles from the main entrance to the Idaho National Laboratory, is Atomic City.  Located midway between Blackfoot and Arco, in the Idaho high desert with beautiful vistas and surrounded by buttes rising out of the sagebrush floor.

Unmatched sunrises and sunsets compliment the days of adventure visiting sites and riding the hundreds of miles of trails.

Location

About twenty minutes northwest of Blackfoot from I-15 heading north, or about 50 minutes west of Idaho Falls.  When coming from Idaho Falls or anywhere on Highway 20, do not use the first Atomic City turnoff as that is a dirt road.  You continue on for several miles and turn on the paved road.  You will turn into the RV park just before the main intersection of Atomic City.
