Welcome to ​Atomic city

At the heart of early atomic energy research, and only six miles from the main entrance to the Idaho National Laboratory, is Atomic City.  Located midway between Blackfoot and Arco, it is located in the Idaho high desert with beautiful vistas and surrounded by buttes rising out of the sagebrush floor.

Unmatched sunrises and sunsets compliment the days of adventure visiting sites and riding the hundreds of miles of trails.

Location 

About twenty minutes northwest of Blackfoot from I-15 heading north, or about 50 minutes west of Idaho Falls.  When coming from Idaho Falls or anywhere on Highway 20, you do not use the first Atomic City turnoff as that is a dirt road.  You continue on for several miles and turn on the paved road.  You will turn into the RV park just before the main intersection of Atomic City.
